    sorry, that was a piece of hardwood that he cut… not laminate flooring.

    hardwood floor is finished and polished, it’s not laminated.

    laminate is exactly that, taking a print and laminating it to a board… solid hardwood seen in this video uses the natural grain and that is ‘finished’ not laminated.

    laminate flooring is usually particle board with a fancy wood or slate finish laminated over top of the board, then given several coats of various resins to protect the laminated image.
